Bedua
Zumaia, Spain
This traditional grill is located in a 12th-century stone farmhouse on the banks of the Urola River. The menu offers a variety of meat and fish grilled over embers, the most popular dish being the highly marbled rib eye steak, dry aged for a month and accompanied by by a side of piquillo peppers. Their freshly harvested salads (they have their own garden), including the simple but delicious lettuce and onion salad, have brought them great fame. Also recommended are the tortillas (egg and potato omelets) with green peppers.
