Casa Morales
Seville, Spain
One of the temples of Andalusian cuisine in Seville, this traditional tavern was founded in 1850 and has been run by the Morales family ever since. The place has hardly changed since the day it opened, and much of the original décor remains intact, including the three gigantic urns in the dining room. Its gastronomic offer is composed of tapas, traditional stews and a few contemporary dishes. The menu is extensive and varied; highlights include a stew dedicated to the Plaza de Toros, salmorejo with ham, stewed pork cheeks and Andalusian cheeses.
