It’s hard to remember where London went for steak before Russian-owned Goodman came along in 2008. The classic steakhouse, now with locations in Mayfair, the City and Canary Wharf, brings in beef from the U.K, the U.S, Spain and beyond and ages it on-site. The day’s best cuts are chalked on the blackboard menu, maybe grass-fed Belted Galloway Porterhouse from the Lakes or a Nebraskan corn-fed T-bone. Just add triple-cooked chips and great wines from California and France.
