In 1989, Adriano Morandi converted the slaughterhouse behind his shop into a tiny restaurant with only four tables. Fresh pasta dishes and cotechino with salsa verde are important parts of the small menu. The walls are lined with stunning bottles of wine that have been emptied by guests. But not to worry: The list is stocked with numerous bottles worthy of their own place on the wall. Lunch only. Make sure to buy some of the terrific house balsamic vinegar in their shop after the meal.
