Ristorante Belbo Da Bardon

Contrary to public opinion, it is not common in Italy to eat in a restaurant which has remained traditional in a way that doesn’t feel contrived. It’s a bit easier, though, in the UNESCO-recognized, bountiful region of the Langhe, and Belbo da Bardon is the epitome of the understated, quiet grandeur found in Italy’s provincial restaurants. The pleasant dining room is always filled with satisfied patrons, enjoying the not-to-be-missed carrello dei bolliti (a selection of boiled meats) and, when in season, a perfect dish of tajarin (thin, flat noodles) with slices of white truffle.
