Ristorante Bovio - Closed

The Bovio family are among the oldest restaurant dynasties in Piedmont. After managing the Belvedere restaurant in La Morra for over 40 years, they moved to a location with wonderful views over the Barolo vineyards and Langhe castles. Alessandra works alongside her father, Gian Bovio, on the floor, while the kitchen whips up perfectly executed classic dishes, the sort of refined, work-intensive recipes of the great tradition of bourgeois restaurants: Bergese-style egg pasta with Alba white truffle, ravioli filled with ricotta, spinach and soft egg or sautéed pheasant tournedos on toasted wholemeal polenta.
