Roka

This extremely buzzy and glossy contemporary Japanese restaurant, from the founders of Oblix and Zuma, has four locations across London. The focus is on the robata grill at Roka, with most of executive chef Hamish Brown’s dishes cooked over coal; black cod in yuzu miso is a cult classic, as are the lamb cutlets with Korean spices. There are also salads, tempura and good-quality sushi for a restaurant of this size, along with gluten-free and vegan menus.
