This restaurant in the beautiful village of Calella de Palafrugell was founded in 1995. The Lozano family offers Mediterranean cuisine made with excellent market produce. Start your meal with a salad of tuna belly, squid that is over a foot long and cooked a la plancha or plates of gambas that were caught a few miles down the road in Palamos. Then dig in to what some say are among the best paellas and rice-and-broth dishes in Spain. Lovely atmosphere and nice service. That well-thought-out wine list includes offerings from small producers, along with top bottles from both Spanish and international producers.
