This historic address in Monforte d’Alba began serving hungry diners in 1875.  As is typical in many places in the Langhe, the menu never changes, offering a solid, traditional cuisine that is carefully prepared.  Gianfranco Massolino offers the entire local repertoire, with excellent versions of dishes like vitello tonnato and agnolotti del plin, along with dishes that have an international influence. The wine list is a thing of beauty and includes a good selection of local wines as well as bottles from other regions.
