Even if Westerns Laundry in the Highbury hinterland is indeed “the best restaurant you’ve never heard of,” as its Instagram claims, you may well have heard of its north London siblings, Primeur and Jolene. Westerns Laundry is the group’s seafood-flavored concept, known for its signature Andalusian-style fideuà and critic-baiting natural wine list. The blackboard is rewritten daily to include, for example, smoked eel, cabbage and bacon; ricotta gnocchi, asparagus and wild garlic; or steak haché, pommes pailles and peppercorn sauce. A great neighborhood spot, especially after attending a match at the Emirates Stadium.
