The Little Yang Sing

Little Yang Sing – not little at all since its 2001 expansion – is a Manchester Chinatown institution going back to 1987 (its big cousin, the Yang Sing, is currently shuttered, having vacated the premises two years previously). Most of Manchester, from families to footballers, students to celebrities, must have passed through its doors over the year for dim sum, crispy duck and mountains of spare ribs. The Cantonese menu is vast, opening with won ton soup, soft shell crab, and glutinous rice parcels, and progressing to whole sea bass, braised fish and bean curd casserole, and Brit-friendly sweet and sour pork.
